Adirondack Chair Circle

by Stephanie Alison Walker

Banna is a perfection-seeking, suburban mom who finds meaning in leading a group of like-minded moms fighting the school district’s indoctrination of children. But behind the impressive facade, her marriage is in trouble, her relationship with her teenager is strained, and she is being tormented by an ever-present crow defiling her backyard. As their group gains traction and some sinister allies, she is faced with a choice: to open up and evolve or to double down and risk isolation. Adirondack Chair Circle examines the absurdity and hypocrisy in group dynamics, the inherent human need to belong, and asks, could Pickleball possibly save the country?

Natural History

by Collin Van Son

presented by

The year is 2169. As wildfires rage across the West, environmental activists and partners-in-crime Jane and Clyde embark on a daring caper to steal a taxidermied bison from the American Museum of Natural History. Only problem? It’s already gone. This darkly comedic reckoning with American mythology explores the tensions between history and nostalgia, personal and public responsibility, and art and activism. Natural History is a eulogy from the future about loss, legacy, and what is worth saving when the past disappears and the record is up for grabs.

Days End

by Brett C. Leonard

Unfolding in New York City over more than two decades, DAYS END examines a fractured family as they move through years of anger, addictions, disappointments, laughter, and undeniable love. As the play opens, we meet estranged spouses, Bobby and Jessie Padilla, having just made love on the morning after the funeral of one of their sons. Told in reverse chronology - culminating on the night when Bobby and Jessie first met - this bold new play reveals a family broken by both circumstances and choices, but always bound by enduring, complicated love, each searching for redemption and each other, simultaneously concluding with heartbreak and triumphant hope.
